This is my final newsletter for the year. And what a year it has been! I’ve written hundreds of articles this year for the South African media, published the Kat Drummond Ten Book Box Set, the Cindy Giles Complete Series Box, and the Legends of the Cataclysm anthology. And while Warpmancer continued to falter, I got a good start to the Blood Veil Series, which will be releasing all at once next year.
In fact, I wanted to share a little bit of my ambitious plan for next year with you. So far, I’ve completed writing on the first two books in the Blood Veil Series, and I’m a good portion into the third book. You can start reading these books immediately by subscribing to me on Ream.
I plan to finish the third book, Beyond the Crimson Haze, by the end of January. And then, I am going to be doing my very own Naniwrimo and attempting to finish book 4, Beyond the Scarlet Moon, in February. And then finishing the next book in March. That will leave only the 7th book to go, which I aim to finish in April. Now, I will give myself some leeway, as my plan is to publish all seven of the Blood Veil Series in mid-2025. That means anytime from May to July. I’d prefer to have it all ready by May, of course. The earlier, the better.
The book will not be available on pre-order (as Amazon took away my pre-order privileges. Long story). But do not fear! Stay subscribed to my newsletter, or check my blog and social media and you will not only be the first to hear about when it’s released, but even get the opportunity to receive Advanced Reader Copies (ARC) early.
My hope with releasing the entire series at once is that you fast readers will be able to devour it as quickly as you want. We’re a binge culture, and I want to let you binge this awesome series all in one go.
But is this the entire series?
That’s up to you. The series as I’ve planned it has a satisfying conclusion, but also plenty of room to grow. So, if you want it to keep going, then it could go on for dozens more books. You only need to show your love for it by leaving positive reviews, buying all the books, telling your friends, and posting about it on social media.
I can’t wait for you to read it all!
