As of writing this, I have pretty much completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town, with a Bachelors of Arts in Economic History and Philosophy, with a minor in International Relations. Instead of rushing into a post-graduate degree that will probably not net me any income and is mostly for my own interest and self-affirmation, I have decided to dedicate a year to writing full-time.
This means more Warpmancer shorts, novellas and novels closer together and with a tighter release schedule. In 2018, I hope to complete 6 novel length additions to the Warpmancer Universe. While I may not be able to keep to this goal, I’m going to do my best.
Here is my current release schedule and planned projects:
Hive Mind (Short Story)
The origin story of Peron the Thinker, a Gleran drone who finds himself born with a trait his race lacks – sentience and free will. Essential reading for fans of Rise of the Defiant. Hive Mind should be available by the 15th of December 2017 at the latest.
Daughter of Mars (Novel)
The origin story of Kei and the continuation of Re’lien’s story. This sequel to Outcast of Empire is an essential tie-in to the main series and will explain the presence of Re’lien in the main series. I hope to get Daughter of Empire on Amazon by February the 15th, 2018.
The Ganymede Incident (Novel)
A shirking Trooper trainee finds newfound purpose when his prodigy older brother is killed in an invasion of his home star system. In its defense, the Trooper Order mounts a full scale war the likes that humanity has not seen for hundreds of years. This novel promises to reveal the origin of many beloved characters from the main series – most notably, Marshal. Planned release for 15th of April 2018.
Direct Sequels in the Main Series
- Conquest of the Defiant – June
- Confederacy of the Defiant – August
- Warpmancer of Terra – October
- Fall of Terra – December
